This a rewritten version, by the author herself, Frances Hodgson Burnett, for she has disincluded a few interesting characters, only with realizations after she completed a play version about the little princess.
It is, indeed the most remarkable piece of work about a princess, after indulging myself into plenty and plenty of princess story, as this story tells a stor
y of a true princess, not literally, but a true princess in her heart.
I am a lover of fairy tales, and Sara Crewe is a unique princess after the plentiful cliche ones I read about. Her heart, is full of goodness, and extreme purity. A reason of me defining her as princess even though she is not related to any royalty, is because she is one, her heart and action tells that she is one.
A true princess remains her dignity and princess identity, regardless Of her conditions.
In this story, Sara Crewe remained a strong princess, even after her dad died, and left her with nothing, her silks instantly turned into rags.
I salute Sara Crewe, and her queer manner will always amuse me, at my darkest nights, being my favorite bedtime story.
